Getting Started
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. Your first conversation with us is free: 30 minutes to talk through your goals, by video or in our Wynwood office. If you move forward as a client, your 60-minute consultation with a provider is included when you run your labs.
How do I book?

Can my first visit be virtual?
Yes. Your consultation can be done by video. Coming in person has a real advantage: we run a body composition scan, which gives you a measured baseline to track your progress against.
How long is the first visit?
Your free first conversation is about 30 minutes. If you move forward, your formal consultation with a provider is about 60 minutes, including your body composition scan and blood draw. We never rush.
How soon can I start treatment?
Most patients begin treatment anywhere from a couple of days to a week after their initial visit, once your provider has your lab results and has designed your protocol.
Do I need a referral?
No. You do not need a referral from another physician to schedule an appointment at Rewind. We are a direct-access clinic — you can book your first visit anytime.
Do I need lab work before treatment?
Yes. We never prescribe without data. Every patient receives a comprehensive lab panel covering hormones, thyroid, metabolic markers, inflammation, and key nutrients before any treatment begins.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A valid photo ID, a list of your current medications and supplements, and any recent lab work if you have it (not required). Fast for 8–12 hours before your visit — water is fine — so your blood work is accurate.
Cost & Payment
Do you accept insurance?
No. Rewind is a cash-pay clinic and does not accept insurance, for in-person or telehealth visits.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards, as well as all major credit and debit cards.
How much does treatment cost?
It depends on your medication, dosage, and treatment plan. We discuss all costs before any treatment begins, and there are never hidden fees.
Telehealth & Medications
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Consultations and follow-ups can be done over secure video — no app download required, just a link we send to your email. Your lab work is drawn at a Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp location near you, and your provider reviews the results with you on a follow-up video call.
How do I receive my medications?
Prescription medications are shipped directly to your home from our partnered pharmacies. Shipping is typically 2–5 business days, and you receive tracking information once your prescription ships. Medications that require cold chain storage are shipped in insulated packaging with cold packs.
Treatments
Do I need a certain BMI to get GLP-1 weight loss medication?
No. Rewind does not use a BMI cutoff. Your provider reviews your health history, current medications, and lab work to decide whether a GLP-1 medication like semaglutide or tirzepatide is right for you.
How are hormones given?
By injection, cream, patch, or pill, depending on the hormone. Testosterone is most often a weekly or biweekly injection or a daily cream; estradiol is a patch or cream; progesterone is taken by mouth at bedtime. Your provider recommends a method based on your labs, lifestyle, and how your body responds.
